Rough Week

Been a rough one for me. Outta town and away from my various disciplines it was hard to get a good workout. Had some metal pounding opportunities the first two days but timing was bad.

Took some improvising to get a real weak but okay workout going. There's always a chair or table or bed or object around that'll do the job. Large tables worked good for pushups, bed+headboard was good for crunches, and chairs and other stuff to work arms and chest.

Bad thing was all the eating I did. Almost every meal was buffet. If not an actual buffet it turned out that way with the amount of food we ordered and I ended up polishing off.

Probably gained 5 to 10 pounds for sure. Hopefully I can turn it to bulk since much of it was starch. If not, gonna be lotta cardio the next few weeks.

Heavy Metal

Well not so heavy but still metal. Picked up a pair of hex 30s a few weeks back to incorporate into the dumbell routine. Turned out to be too light so now I need to consider going to 40 or jumping to 50 once the 30s get real fast.

Aside from that I still don't have room for my old Bodysmith system. Dumbells are fine but I miss the lat, fly, and curl attachments. Lose money.

I was thinking of taking my Body Gear bench to a welder and having him add the post sleeve. That way I could make use of all the attachments though the balance woud probably be off. Hmm, now if only I can get off my lazy ass, lookup a welder, and do it!!!
